BBC Studios Profits Up and Masterchef Presenters Down
Rina Dayalji and Clive Dickens Join Matt Deegan
It’s been quite the week for the BBC. But then when isn’t it? Some good news from the annual report with BBC Studios growing its profits for the fourth year in a row. Media exec, now CEO of Meliora joins us to explain the success.
Meanwhile, there’s now 50,000 ex-licence fee payers and Masterchef has lost its two hosts. TV Exec Producer Rina Dayalji talks about the impact both of these have on the regular TV worker.
We also take a deep dive with Clive as we get our heads around LLMs and the opportunities of AI for media. And Rina gives us a little inside peek into the next series of The Traitors (without spoilers).
If you haven’t filled it in yet, do jump on our survey link and tell us what you think of the show.
Oh, and there might be a little bonus ep on Monday. Stay tuned!
